Una ricorrenza importante ieri per Sora. Il 7 luglio 1901 nasceva, nel centro storico della città volsca, Vittorio De Sica, il più eclettico regista del ventesimo secolo, protagonista indiscusso del cinema italiano e internazionale. Ieri la sua città natale ha ricordato il maestro De Sica con grande affetto, celebrando la sua straordinaria grandezza artistica. In onore di Vittorio De Sica, nel centro storico, a Canceglie, ieri pomeriggio, dalle 17.30, è stato possibile visitare la mostra fotografica curata dall’Officina del Cinema di Antonio Mantova.
Al grande attore e regista Sora ha dedicato l’auditorium di piazza Mayer Ross e anche la piazza della stazione è stata intitolata a lui. Inoltre nel cuore di Sora c’è una targa che ricorda la sua casa natale, spesso meta di turisti che arrivano in città per visitare i luoghi cari al maestro.
