About Amadeus:
1984’s Amadeus was not only a gripping human drama and sumptuous period epic that celebrated the music of Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart, but it was also a box-office hit that managed to garner eight Academy Awards (out of an astounding 11 nominations). This marvelous film portrays the rivalry between the genius Mozart (Tom Hulce) and the jealous court composer (F.Murray Abraham in his Oscar-winning role) who may have ruined Mozart’s career and shortened his life.

  1. Wow, just wow! This looks amazing. And this is just the trailer. Some of these shots look new to me, they're so stunningly restored. I can actually see the film grain in this. This looks like an excellent example of 4K restoration. And I'm so happy that it's the theatrical cut. That hasn't been available since the 1997 DVD! I can't wait to see it!

  2. This was one of the movies I watched with my parents at 10 years old and I loved it. Abraham gave auch a wonderful performance of a man who worked and struggled hard to get where he was at, but had to watch someone waltz in and be more talented than him, but didn’t earn it like he had.
