Italian Prime Minister Giorgia Meloni arrived in Washington D.C. today to attend the inauguration of US President-elect Donald Trump. She was warmly welcomed by US officials upon her arrival. Meloni is trying to build firm relations with Trump. She last met him at his residence earlier in January. Meloni had also maintained good relations with outgoing president Joe Biden.
