Meeting with the Executive Vice-President of the European Commission, Raffaele Fitto

The President of the Council of Ministers, Giorgia Meloni, received the newly appointed Executive Vice-President of the European Commission for Cohesion and Reforms, Raffaele Fitto, at Palazzo Chigi today. It was President Meloni’s first time meeting with Raffaele Fitto in his new capacity as European Commission Vice-President. The meeting focused on the European Commission’s future challenges, starting with the implementation of long-term reforms and investments that can help boost European growth. President Meloni provided assurance that Italy would pragmatically contribute to the Commission’s work over the next five years.
