If all of that renewable energy supply could provide reliable power then of course. But if it's dark and not windy and energy storage isn't an option then you'll either have blackouts, burn fossil fuels, or use nuclear power. I think nuclear power is the way to go, but if that's not an option because of fear, then we're going to need something better than wind and solar the way it exists now…
And when the solar panels and wind turbines expire, can we go back to normal?
