As Thalorin sat in his ruined palace, the cries of his people echoing in the distance, he finally opened the dusty scrolls of his ancestors. There, he saw their warnings: "Pride blinds the foolish; only the wise, who learn from our pain, shall endure."

    But it was too late. The name Thalorin was etched into history not as a conqueror, but as a king who doomed his kingdom by refusing to learn from the past. In the annals of time, he was remembered not as a leader but as a cautionary tale—a loser who ignored the pain of history.

    And so it was said: Leaders who do not learn from the pain of history will be remembered not for their triumphs, but for their failures.
