La Russa is a co-founder and member of the Brothers of Italy party, whose leader, Giorgia Meloni, is set to lead a rightwing coalition as prime minister after a successful election in late September.

  1. In Italy there is much worse!
Giorgio Napolitano, the President of the Republic, in 1956 publicly stated that URSS brought peace to Hungary.
Sala, the mayor of Milan, publicly exhibited the comunist salute.
Landini, the CGIL secretary, said that private property is dangerous.

  2. Funny how British media have the audacity to criticise a democratically elected Italian government, while here it’s a total shambles, with the non elected muppet show running the country to the ground. I’d say spend more time looking closely of how you have allowed this to happen in the UK before even attempting to analyse the situation abroad
