The President of the Council of Ministers, Giorgia Meloni, is on an official visit to the Argentine Republic. She was welcomed to Buenos Aires by the Italian Ambassador to Argentina, Fabrizio Lucentini, the Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs, International Trade and Worship of the Argentine Republic, Eduardo Bustamante, and the Europe director at the Argentine Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Betina de Fonseca.
At the airport, President Meloni met with the President of the Chamber of Deputies of Argentina, Martín Menem, the Chief of the Ministerial Cabinet, Guillermo Francos, and President Milei’s advisor Santiago Caputo.
Earlier today, after visiting the monument to José de San Martín, President Meloni met with the President of the Argentine Republic, Javier Milei, at the Casa Rosada, where the two leaders later issued statements to the press.
