President Meloni meets with the President of the Slovak Republic

The President of the Council of Ministers, Giorgia Meloni, met with the President of the Slovak Republic, Peter Pellegrini, at Palazzo Chigi today, as part of his official visit to Italy.

The meeting allowed for an in-depth discussion on the opportunities to strengthen the already excellent bilateral relations in the economic field, in the energy sector and with regard to security and defence cooperation. 

The two leaders also had an exchange of views on the main issues on the European and international agenda, with particular reference to the Ukrainian crisis.
