President Meloni’s telephone conversation with President Zelensky

The President of the Council of Ministers, Giorgia Meloni, had a telephone conversation today with the President of Ukraine, Volodymyr Zelensky. The two leaders discussed the latest ongoing developments to bring an end to the conflict, with the aim of achieving a just and lasting peace.

President Meloni reaffirmed Italy’s support for Ukraine and the Ukrainian people also in view of future talks, and they both agreed on the importance of maintaining close coordination with European partners and the United States.
