Statement by Palazzo Chigi on earthquake in Campi Flegrei area

The President of the Council of Ministers, Giorgia Meloni, has been constantly monitoring developments in the situation following the strong earthquake that hit the Campi Flegrei (Phlegraean Fields) area last night.

President Meloni is in close contact with Undersecretary of State Alfredo Mantovano, with the Minister for Civil Protection, Nello Musumeci, and with the Head of the Civil Protection Department, Fabio Ciciliano.
