Visit to Republic of Kazakhstan and Central Asia-Italy Summit

The President of the Council of Ministers, Giorgia Meloni, attended the Central Asia-Italy Summit in Astana, in the Republic of Kazakhstan, today. Following the summit, she addressed journalists at a press point. This morning, President Meloni delivered a speech at the Astana International Forum, after which she had a bilateral meeting with the President of Kazakhstan, Kassym-Jomart Tokayev, and attended a signing ceremony for agreements between Italy and Kazakhstan. Over the course of the day, President Meloni met with the President of the Kyrgyz Republic, Sadyr Japarov, with the President of the Republic of Tajikistan, Emomali Rahmon, and with the President of Turkmenistan, Serdar Berdimuhamedov.
