President Meloni’s message of congratulations to Minister Foti

Tommaso Foti has been sworn in as Minister by President of the Republic Mattarella, and I wish to offer him sincere congratulations, both personally and on behalf of the entire Government. 

Tommaso is a highly experienced and capable politician and one of Fratelli d’Italia’s most valuable assets today. He has a long parliamentary career behind him, and as parliamentary group leader for Fratelli d’Italia at the Chamber of Deputies, he has shown his value and expertise during this legislative term, guiding the main majority party at Montecitorio. He is a committed, passionate and consistent party member who, from a very young age, has devoted his life to serving his community and the nation.

Minister Foti takes over from Raffaele Fitto, the newly appointed Executive Vice-President of the European Commission, and I am sure he will work with the same determination and meticulousness, for the good of Italy and Italians.
