President Meloni’s telephone conversation with President Zelensky

The President of the Council of Ministers, Giorgia Meloni, had a telephone conversation today with the President of Ukraine, Volodymyr Zelensky.

During the call, President Meloni reiterated the comprehensive support that Italy provides and will continue to provide to Ukraine and the Ukrainian people, with the goal of building a just peace. The two leaders also had an exchange of views on upcoming diplomatic initiatives, also in view of the next European Council.

In closing, President Meloni recalled Italy’s commitment to organising the Ukraine Recovery Conference in Rome in 2025.
